I have talked to our main developer and he confirmed that the file should tell your system to use exactly 72 threads. Unfortunately we cannot help you if the system doesn't use maximum of them. As you have checked it yourself, it does work without HT.

Most likely the reason of this is the different session settings for the symbols. If you make the session end the same for each of them, it should be working. To learn more about sessions, please read this.

Yes, the C of a daily bar = close daily price from your vendor. Some vendors offer more than 1 symbol per security to give different daily bars. Anyway the "Build from minutes" should help you.

For any chart using custom futures from IB.Andrew, do you suggest to use "date - date" instead of "N bars back" for other minutes/hours/daily charts too? Would that speed up loading?

Because of different ways how data is requested on chart.Why should case I cause pacing violation and Case II not cause pacing violation (or will cause much less pacing violation)? Does it mean there is some bug in Case I?

Judging by the screenshot the mode of exit strategies is set to "First to Position, then to Orders". Please go to Preferences to change the mode to "All to Position" (if it fits your style of trading).

You can develop a code that would be calculating the number using the PosTradeSize keyword.

Indeed there can be some problems with pacing violation if you use " Bars Back/Days Back " option for defining Data Range of the chart. If you switch the option to " From ... To ... ", there will be less tick data requests, though according the mechanism of building custom futures charts, the number...

I followed the instructions and the data has loaded for H1. I then added a daily chart as data 2 and you can clearly see missing days. One way or another, this should not happen. Is it necessary to switch to 24/7 on daily charts as well ? Please don't use 24/7 for daily-base charts. The advice i ga...
